Car Hire

Castara is so lovely that you may only want a car for the occasional day out. Others prefer the flexibility of having a car to hand so they can go off spontaneously. Whichever, Porridge has a number of good quality, air conditioned vehicles. You can usually sort out an arrangement with him after you arrive, but if you know you would like a vehicle for a week or so, it is best to email him in advance at sugartucky@gmail.com to avoid disappointment.

There are a number of professional car hire services on Tobago. myTobago.info has a comprehensive list of rental agencies classified by geographical area. Several of these have been reviewed in depth. There is also a very well researched article on the subject of driving on the island.
